| What things have gone wrong with the car? | a few too many repairs needed | |
| General comments? | I don't think that a nicer looking car could be purchased for the money. The drive is very comfortable, and the back seat fits two people comfortably. The car has adequate speed, which is a lot better than what the older Galants had. The upholstery is also better than the older models. After driving the car for two years, I get the impression that the Galant will not go for 100,000 miles like many other Japanese cars. Some of the parts appear to be cheap. Also, the car has needed more repairs than I expected. When applying the brakes while driving fast, the steering wheel rattles. After getting this problem repaired, the problem re-appeared soon afterwards. Overall, I would recommend the Galant to lease because of the exceptional lease deals and the good looks. I would not recommend the Galant to buy because I don't have faith in the longevity of the car. | |
