| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Stereo is weak, ABS is too loud, has had some problems, I guess the back seat doesn't have an abundance of legroom but I don't have to sit back there... | |
| General comments? | We have had a few problems in our 28 months of ownership (ABS sensor, passenger seat rattle, lower rocker arms replaced), but overall we like the car. Our tolerance is probably due to the fact that we expected a few bugs from an early model (Sep '98) in a redesign year. It's a nice smooth ride on the highway, usually gets 27-28mpg (only 18-20 city), and the front seats are supportive enough for hours of driving. V6, 16" alloy wheels, sunroof, power everything, good looks, all for $21,000. I wouldn't tell anyone to ignore the Honda-Toyota-Nissan offerings in favor of the Galant, but I would definitely recommend a Galant test drive before buying anything else. | |
