| What things have gone wrong with the car? | This car has so much potential. With the dark windows, radio shack 6x9 speakers, and a Pioneer cd player, this car turns heads constantly. But, falls short on performance specially in the area of handling. It feels week in curves and could use a stiffer, more stable suspension for this price. It would be great if they could add a few more horses to the 140, considering that the new Subaru has 220+. Among other things: weak antenna, cheap cloth interior, weak AC, and did I mention a weak suspension. Also, Lack of aftermarket parts such as strut bars, borla exaust etc. | |
| General comments? | So far, after 17000 miles, we have had little problems with our Galant. We had to have the front break pads changed at around 16k which raised our eye brows a little bit, but other than that, it has been ok. We often look at it and have to thank God for it. It is an attractive car that begs even its owners to stare at it over and over again. Can tell you how it loves the attention it gets at the beach strip. Mitsubishi Motors, Your 4cyl Galant needs more power and better handling, and what's up with the brakes? | |
