| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Headlights to brown (PIAA is great), excussive body roll, battery spilled acid in engine compartment, which will all e be replaced under warranty. I WILL get my money back for the purchase of my battery. | |
| General comments? | I went from a 1996 Eclipse RS to a 2001 GTZ. I enjoyed the ride of the car so far but feel that that car is too bounce and has way to much body roll on cornering for a GTZ, maybe for a ES or LS but more focus on a sporter suspension should have been taken into consideration. This means that a strut tower brace is needed to reduce the body roll of the car when turning corners at moderate speeds. I also notice sway bars for front or rear or anti-roll bars either. Any of these would lessen body roll. It appears to me that Mitsubisihi cut corner by taking the LS label and replacing it with a GTZ label. I see no difference in ride quality or anything else besides rims that makes the GTZ different from the LS. They are the same price. The car was peppy for the first 500 miles then it went away. I don't miss it because all you needed to do i tap the gas pedal and the wheels spin. This is a real bad thing in rain! Yes, I enjoy the car, the looks I get when I drive it the 3 stage paint and leather seats. Yes, for those of you that read this, I to needed the passenger air bag mod. replaced. I have one conern I had to replace the air filter within 500 miles of driving. No, I don't just drive I inspect everything about the car. I replaced the air filter however, since then my idle has been near the 500 rpm mark (---) the other marks on the rpm are (--) it's just after the (--0) zero mark. Now I know this car is suppose to runn at 850 rpms but I don't think that's no where near that. Are any of you having this same problem or not? Please email me at handsomeplzer@blackplanet.com and let me know what you 2001 v6 Galant is reving at when you come to red lights or stop signs. I want the rpm while the car is in drive not in park. | Previous car | Honda v6 but not as peppy. Sound system sucks a phat one. You turn the noble and after a certain point you reached your max, with distoration. However, the headlights are very bright. | |
