| What things have gone wrong with the car? | The four cylinder models lack a little power...opt for the six if you can (still the four outperforms a lot of other fours out there...you just expect a car that looks as sharp and sporty as the new Galants to live up to their image and can be disappointed) | |
| General comments? | The Galants have become great cars over the years. Mitsubishi used to have lots of troubles...I know because I used to own a Mitsubishi Eclipse as well. However, over the last few years, the Galant has made certain "recommended" lists, such as Consumer Reports. The car is powerful and smooth driving. I got it with the leather package and it came standard, as a LS model, with a 7-speaker Infinity sound system, power roof, leather steering wheel and shifter, alloy wheels, ABS, keyless (including trunk), and power everything, even seats! For the price, you can't beat it. It turns a lot of heads since there aren't a lot of them driving around...everyone wants to know what it is and compliments it! My husband had a 1998 Honda Accord EX-V6 and his mother has a 2001 Toyota Camry--neither car is any better than this Galant. | |
