| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Need more leg room! I have the drivers seat back all the way & the steering wheel up as high as it will go & I could still use more room. Not designed for a 6ft 3in driver. | |
| General comments? | I had really liked the looks of the Galant for a while but have been in a 4wd Toyota SR5 extra cab truck. It finally started costing more to repair than it was worth ('91) so I went for the nothing down,no interest,no payments for a year on a new Galant. Have only had the car a few days but so far I am very happy with the performance. The 195 HP 24 valve V6 is quick & I have found myself WAY over the posted speed limit several times thanks to the smooth,quiet ride. Sporty,responsive,agile yet is great for loading the kids up for a dash to school! I don't think the Eclipse would fit my lifestyle but the Galant fits the bill; 4 doors, practical yet stylish, drives like a sports car. I paid extra for the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty as I drive 110-150 miles per day with my job. | |
